Marvi Memon is a leading female motivational speaker whose career reflects three decades of public service, corporate leadership, and global advocacy for women’s empowerment. Born in Karachi and educated in Karachi, Paris and Kuwait before graduating from the London School of Economics, Marvi built an international outlook early in life. Her work now inspires audiences who want to understand how resilience, purpose and principled leadership can shape nations, communities and organisations. She speaks with the clarity of someone who has navigated crisis, negotiated at the highest levels, and delivered measurable change for millions.

Marvi began her professional journey at Citibank where she supported the launch of Pakistan’s first credit card programme and later contributed to the bank’s six sigma quality initiatives. She then became the youngest woman CEO of a multinational in Pakistan, leading the country’s first satellite tracking company and introducing the first SMS server in Pakistan. These experiences taught her how technological firsts can shift markets and open pathways to economic inclusion. Her move to government began with serving as Director Media Monitoring for the Presidency and later as Advisor to the Board of Investment, where she contributed to record foreign direct investment trends while promoting Pakistan’s competitive sectors internationally.

Her political career spanned a decade in parliament across two terms. Marvi authored the Acid and Burns Crime Legislation, which was later recognised through an Oscar winning documentary, and she established the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services through landmark legislation. As Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Information, she oversaw significant reforms on transparency, media rights and public accountability. Her most influential public role came as Federal Minister and Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme, where she led Pakistan’s largest social protection system. Under her leadership the programme supported six million families yearly, built a 1.7 million member women’s empowerment network, safeguarded two million children from child labour, introduced biometric financial inclusion systems and tied national social protection to global development targets. These achievements positioned her as a globally recognised voice on poverty alleviation and women’s leadership.

Today Marvi leads the Legislative Alliance for Women Empowerment Protection International Corporation, the world’s first generative AI organisation dedicated to producing model legislation for women’s rights. She continues to advise international institutions including the World Bank’s Advisory Council for Gender and Economic Inclusion and shares her insights across universities, corporate boards and major global forums. Fluent in four languages and author of five books, she brings unmatched range to her motivational keynotes, drawing on frontline governance, crisis response, entrepreneurship and policy innovation to empower audiences to lead with courage, clarity and conviction.
