Susie Wolff is a former professional racing driver, who has driven in the Formula Renault, Formula Three, the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters and as a Development Driver for Williams Formula One. Having made history as the first woman to participate in a Formula One weekend in 22 years at the 2014 British Grand Prix, Susie has scaled a male-dominated industry to reach the top. Now booked as a female motivational speaker, Susie is proof that women can succeed in the motorsports industry and inspires other women to follow in her footsteps.
Beginning her competitive motorsport career almost two decades ago, Susie originally competed in karting before progressing to Formula Renault, Formula Three and DTM. Having made history at the 2014 British Grand Prix, Susie is now the Team Principal of the VENTURI Formula E racing team and the co-founder of Dare to Be Different. Dare to be Different was created by Susie as a call to action to encourage female participation in motorsports and sports in general. Also encouraging female participation in other male-dominated industries, Susie’s organisation epitomises female empowerment.
Susie has also been a part of the Girls on Track initiative, joining forces with the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission to complete grassroots work that provides opportunities to girls and women of all ages. In reward of her commitment to increasing female participation in sports, Susie has been awarded an Honorary Degree from the University of Edinburgh and been appointed an MBE for Services to Women in Sport. This passion was further recognised when she was appointed as the Managing Director of the F1 Academy, the newly launched all-female racing series.
Now booked as a female motivational speaker, Susie is a role model for women in male-dominated sectors and passionately advocates the participation of women in sport. Sitting at the helm of Dare to be Different, Susie encourages girls and women alike to not let stereotypes and expectations hold them back- proof that women can achieve the same as men in male-dominated industries. Having formerly spoken for the likes of Williams Racing, UBS, Vodafone and Mercedes-Benz, Susie is a seasoned speaker. When looking for an empowering and inspirational female speaker who encourages inclusion, look no further than Susie Wolff.
Most recently, Susie Wolff was inducted into the Top Female Speakers to Book for International Women’s Day, a testament to her empowering motorsport success.

“I’ve had the privilege of working with Susie Wolff for an executive event that our company organised. In that time I have known Susie to be personable, enthusiastic and a brilliant businesswoman and driver. Susie has built a strong reputation as someone with vision, diligence and technical knowledge and I am thrilled I had the chance to experience seeing Susie implement these skills outside the race track. I found her speech at our conference to be incredibly valuable and educational, and so did the diverse group of automotive executives visiting our event. I strongly recommend Susie to anyone looking for a motivational or business speaker”
“Susie Wolff was really very inspirational. She has engaged our audience and was one of the favourite speakers and topic of the day”
