A true modern renaissance woman, Stephanie Hill is a scientist, vocalist, equestrian and advocate for women in STEM, who was titled Miss United Kingdom and Miss World Europe. The contemporary polymath, as introduced by The British Library for DaVinci’s 500th Anniversary Exhibition in 2018, is available for a wide range of speaking engagements, entertainment events and more.
Stephanie prides herself on being a woman of many talents, most notably a therapeutic radiographer and cancer researcher. In 2020, she took part in the Urgent Public Health studies exploring SARS-CoV-2 and the COVID-19 pandemic in healthy children, making a valuable contribution during the UK’s time of need. With a degree in Radiotherapy and Oncology and a Master’s in Translational Oncology, she is committed to the academic research of radiotherapy and personalised medicine.
As a healthcare professional, Stephanie is passionate about increasing representation of women in STEM subjects, to generate engagement and interest at a young age. She recently founded stEMPOWER, a campaign driven to empower women from non-conventional backgrounds to pursue STEM careers, and level the gender playing field. An inspiration to many, Stephanie has also visited schools as an Ambassador for Women in STEM, to share her story. At events, like the Artist. Scientist. Woman panel at the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Festival of the Polymath, Stephanie promotes the importance of equal opportunities.
In 2017, Stephanie was titled Miss England, having won Miss Eco, Miss Beautiful Mind and the Miss Beautiful Hair awards, to then compete in Miss World. Continuing their ethos, Beauty with a Purpose, the finalists raised £31K for disadvantaged children. In the iconic competition, Stephanie placed second runner-up, to be appointed Miss United Kingdom and Miss World Europe. She was then invited to tour Asia alongside other continental representatives, to meet the Vice President of India implement a humanitarian social initiative and improve feminine hygiene awareness.
Stephanie is an outstanding personality on stage, with beautiful vocals and natural confidence she has performed at Wembley Stadium over 21 times. She engaged millions during Miss Indonesia 2018, attended the CCTV1’s Chinese New Year Celebrations in Sanya and entertained 15,000 people at the Horse of the Year Show in 2017. In recognition of her vocal power, she was nominated for a Classical Brit Award. Stephanie is also a dedicated athlete. She placed fourth in the SEIB Search 4 A Star Working Hunter Horse of the Year at HOYS and is a member of the Sheffield University Latin & Ballroom Society, reflecting her incredible talent.
When booked for events, Stephanie can fill several roles, including vocalist, celebrity guest, science speaker and more. She is particularly passionate about inspiring female audiences, encouraging them to set and achieve their goals in male-dominated industries, like STEM.
