Natasha Jonas MBE is an acclaimed British female motivational keynote speaker and two-weight unified world boxing champion who has spent nearly two decades breaking barriers in sport and society. Born in Toxteth, Liverpool, Natasha’s journey is one of relentless perseverance, making history as the first female boxer to represent Great Britain at the Olympic Games. Her story of triumph over adversity has inspired audiences across the UK and beyond, with her speeches empowering women, young people, and professionals to strive for excellence, resilience and purpose.

Natasha’s boxing career began in 2005 and rapidly gained momentum. By 2009, she had become the first female to box for GB Boxing, claiming gold at the European Union Championships. In 2012, she etched her name in British sporting history by becoming the first female British boxer to qualify for the Olympics, where she proudly represented Team GB at the London Games. As an amateur, she also collected a series of international medals including bronze at the 2011 European Championships, bronze at the 2012 AIBA World Championships, and silver at the 2014 European Championships. After turning professional in 2017, Natasha faced some of the sport’s best, eventually clinching her first world title in 2022.

From there, Natasha’s career soared. She became WBO super-welterweight world champion, later unifying the division by capturing the WBC, IBF and The Ring titles. In 2023, she made history again by becoming a two-weight world champion after winning the IBF welterweight belt and then unified the division by adding the WBC title. She was named the British Boxing Board of Control’s Boxer of the Year in 2022, the first woman to earn the accolade. In 2023, Natasha also broke new ground outside the ring by becoming the first Black woman to receive a manager’s licence from the British Boxing Board of Control, helping to guide and mentor the next generation of fighters.

Beyond the sport, Natasha is a powerful voice for change. She was awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours List in 2025 for her services to boxing and her contributions to the Liverpool community. Her commitment to empowering others extends into her motivational speaking, where she shares her journey of sacrifice, determination, and reinvention. Known for her authenticity and presence, Natasha inspires audiences with real-life lessons on leadership, resilience and self-belief – drawing from her own lived experience as an elite athlete, single mother, and barrier-breaker.
