Martina Witter has over two decades worth of experience working within mental health and wellbeing helping both children and adults to build their resilience and therefore improve their productivity at work. Dedicated to ensuring inclusion throughout society, Martina Founded Black Mental Wealth to ensure self-help information is culturally appropriate. As a testament to Martina’s contributions to her field, she has been featured in the likes of The Voice, Metro, HuffPost, Thrive Global and BBC Radio Manchester.

After graduating from the University of Manchester with a BSc in Psychology, Martina has since had a stellar career working as a psychologist, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and transforming the lives of countless people. Some of her most notable roles include working for the NHS as a Locum Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, a High Intensity Therapist and a Clinical Studies Officer, the Non-Executive Director for Manchester Community Spirit, a Sessional Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for Priory Group and a Digital Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for Leso Digital Health.

In 2017 Martina became the Co-Founder of Black Women in Business & Professionals Network which facilitates conferences and events aimed at providing support for back women, from advice to access to a mentor. During her powerful, insightful and inspiring keynote speeches, Martina draws on her own life experiences of loss, divorce, depression, stress and rejection to help her audience change their mindset for the better. She is proof that no matter the adversity you face, you can always turn this into a force for good. Martina has been the recipient of numerous awards including Best Employee Wellbeing Service at the SM News Northern Enterprise Awards and is named on the Northern Power Woman Future List.
