Mamta Singhal MBE CEng FIET FWES is an award-winning engineer, diversity advocate and female motivational keynote speaker who has dedicated her career to empowering women, championing inclusion and inspiring future generations of STEM professionals. Recognised nationally for her contribution to engineering and female representation, Mamta combines more than two decades of industry experience with a passion for helping individuals build confidence, embrace change and unlock their potential. Her journey from a young engineering student in Scotland to one of the UK’s most respected voices on diversity, leadership and women in STEM has established her as an influential role model for audiences worldwide.

Beginning her career on the Graduate Engineering Programme at Dyson, Mamta quickly built an impressive portfolio of experience across some of the world’s most recognisable brands. She held engineering and leadership positions with Hasbro, Mars, Mattel, Coca-Cola European Partners, Diageo and Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, delivering innovation, product development, manufacturing and sustainability projects on an international scale. Alongside her corporate success, Mamta has become a leading advocate for greater diversity across engineering and manufacturing, using her platform to encourage more women and underrepresented groups to pursue careers in STEM.

Mamta’s achievements have earned widespread recognition throughout industry and academia. In 2022, she was awarded an MBE for Services to Engineering, recognising her outstanding contribution to the profession and her commitment to widening participation. She is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET) and a Fellow of the Women’s Engineering Society (FWES), honours reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional impact within their field. Mamta has also served as an Engineering Visiting Professor at Middlesex University, an IET Board Trustee, a Women’s Engineering Society Board Member and an ambassador for Dyslexia Scotland, championing neurodiversity and the value of different thinking styles in business and engineering.
