Lauren Steadman

Lauren Steadman is a talented Paratriathlete and swimmer, who has claimed three World Championship titles and six European Championship titles. Having also claimed silver at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, Lauren is now booked as a female motivational speaker to inspire other disabled people to get into competitive sport as a female role model.

Born without her lower right arm, Lauren has never let her disability hold her back. Originally starting off as a swimmer, Lauren was persuaded to move into competitive paratriathlon by a family member and has since claimed 21 gold medals and six silver medals across competitions such as the London ITU Paratriathlon, Gold Coast ITU Paratriathlon and the GBR Paratriathlon. She has also broken the World Record for the 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay and competed in her first Paralympic Games when she was just 15 years old.

Now coached by former Olympian Robin Brew, Lauren continues to claim countless wins in paratriathlon competitions. Formerly, Lauren competed in the 2008 and 2012 Paralympic Games as a swimmer, proving her versatility as an athlete competing over multiple disciplines. Outside of sport, Lauren has become a TV personality- having competed on the 2018 series of Strictly Come Dancing and been a finalist on SAS: Who Dares Wins 2020. She also shares her time as a Sports Ambassador for both the Triathlon Trust and United Learning.

A truly inspirational Paralympian, Lauren is now booked as a female motivational speaker for corporate events.
