Best known as the Co-Founder of Green & Black’s, Jo established the chocolate brand with her husband in 1991, during a recession. Built on strong business principles and a quality product, Jo led her team through the financial storm to the giant is it today worth over £20 million. Since gaining a reputation as a successful and resilient entrepreneur, Jo has gone on to found Judges Bakery, an organic food shop in 2005. Most recently, Jo has also Co-Founded The Perfume Society which expands her senses themed business portfolio into the beauty sector.
Outside of her entrepreneurial endeavours, Jo has published two books: The Story of Green & Black’s and The Beauty Bible which explores all manner of modern beauty topics. She is currently the editor of The Perfume Society’s The Scented Letter, which has won a Jasmine Award for its content, managed by Jo. As an ethical business owner, Jo has been recognised for her continued efforts for the environment with the WorldAware Award and numerous Soil Association Awards.
