Helen Clark is the former Prime Minister of New Zealand, who made history as the second woman to become the Prime Minister of the country. Establishing a strong reputation for her passions for gender equality, female empowerment and environmental sustainability, Helen is widely regarded as a role model for women worldwide. Back in 1999, Helen became the Prime Minister of New Zealand and served in the role until 2008. Other prominent roles of Helen’s include being the Leader of the Opposition and the Shadow Spokesperson for Health and Labour.

Helen has also acted as the United Nations Development Programme Administrator, Minister of Health, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party in New Zealand. Her commitments to politics and equality have also seen Helen awarded the Peace Prize of the Danish Peace Foundation, the Nuclear-Free Future Award, the appointment of Member of the Order of New Zealand and the recipient of the United Nations Environment Programme Champions of the Earth Award.

Currently the Co-Chair of the review on WHO’s Covid-19 response, Helen is now booked as a female motivational speaker to share her passions for female empowerment and equality in positions of power.
