Gail Muller is a true inspiration to all she meets, after getting the bleak prognosis that by 40 years old she would be wheelchair bound due to a debilitating muscular-skeletal issue, she did not let this stop her from completing the Appalachian Trail at 41 years old. This 2200 mile hike would push her body and mind to the limit but Gail’s journey has not been an easy one – throughout her 20s and 30s, she was riddled with pain and lost 15 years of her life to her condition. Having overcome this obstacle in her life, Gail now shares with her audience how they too can show the same resilience, and is proof that anything is possible, no matter your age.

With a passion for education, Gail earned her Postgraduate Certificate of Education after earning her BA in Ancient History and Classical Archaeology from the University of Warwick and her Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Falmouth University. Gail has since led a stellar career in education and uses her nearly two decades of teaching experience to educate others on how they can push themselves, physically and mentally, to the limits. Gail is an international private Tutor and was previously the Director of Academic Programmes and Enrichment for ARCH Education, former Head of Faculty for Brannel School and a Seconded Teacher at Scuola Europea di Varese, Italy.

Even though Gail is now nearly pain-free, she had to search high and low for a cure which helped her. It was only whilst she was in Italy, did she find the help she needed and so began 3 long years of physical therapy. Gail’s best-selling book, ‘Unlost: A Journey of Self-Discovery and the Healing Power of the Wild Outdoors’ recounts her battle to live a life filled with joy in the great outdoors. Gail was also diagnosed with ADHD and has learnt to harness her ‘flaws’ so they became her superpower. She now motivates others to view what they see as ‘broken’ to be the very thing which sets them apart.

As the Founder of the Unlost Collective, Gail is dedicated to both helping those who are neurodiverse with their education, and helping those who are struggling to achieve their goals overcome the obstacles in their path. Gail’s down-to-earth nature makes for an incredible keynote speaker, her audience relates to her and she is proof that sometimes a little encouragement is needed for people to uncover their strength within. Make sure you hire Gail Muller for your next speaking event if you are in need of a speaker who eloquently shares how to ensure you have hope in the face of adversity.
