Anis began her professional career in media sales, quickly climbing the ranks with companies such as Future Plc, VNU Business Publications, and Forbes Arabia. Her deepening commercial expertise saw her take on leadership roles at Banker Middle East and Devex, eventually becoming associate director. In 2011, she founded Global Development Innovation, followed by Development Post in 2012 – ventures that combined her commercial acumen with a growing passion for development and innovation. These experiences laid the groundwork for her transition into coaching and public speaking, where she found a calling in guiding others to success.
From 2014 onwards, Anis expanded her influence by founding Mindful Sales Training, a business dedicated to helping individuals value themselves, create meaningful impact, and earn a living doing what they love. She created the Mindful Selling and AGILE Mindset principles, which have since become core to her workshops and talks. Her mentoring work includes Startup Direct, the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women – where she supports female entrepreneurs in developing countries – and the British Library, where she leads masterclasses and panel discussions for start-ups and small businesses.
