Abbie Eaton is a championship-winning British racing driver whose career has combined elite performance with trailblazing impact. Best known to many as the test driver on The Grand Tour, she has spent more than two decades immersed in motorsport, using her platform to highlight the realities of the industry and the barriers that often prevent young talent from progressing. Abbie’s passion for racing began in childhood as she watched her father compete before taking to the track herself. After receiving her first go-kart at the age of ten, she spent the following years competing across the UK and honing the discipline that would shape her future. Progressing to cars in her mid-teens, she debuted in a Citroen Saxo built by her father and quickly impressed in senior-level racing. Her breakthrough came in the Production Touring Car Trophy, where she achieved an extraordinary run of victories and secured her first championship. Financial setbacks temporarily paused her rise, but her resolve never faded. With her father preparing a Mazda MX-5, she returned to competition and later secured sponsorship that enabled a full season and a second championship title, achieved as the only woman on a grid of 37.

Her career continued to gather momentum with support from Maserati GB, leading to further podium success in GT racing, becoming the Pro/Am Vice Champion after racing in the British 2016 GT4 Championship.. Abbie went on to become the first female winner in the Blancpain GT Endurance Series, one of the most demanding GT championships globally. She later competed in the W Series, further cementing her position as a pioneer in the sport. Abbie is also the co-founder and former test driver of Rebelleo Motorsport. Beyond racing, she has become a familiar face on television, serving as a test driver on The Grand Tour, as well as working as a stunt and precision driver across film and TV.
